A Special Christmas Storytime

Join us in the Kid's Corner for a very special Christmas storytime with Ms. Ginger and her good friend Argyle.   On December 18th at 10:30am, Ms. Ginger will present holiday stories, songs, and finger plays that will get everyone into the Christmas spirit!

Happy Thanksgiving Storytime and Craft

Stop by the Kid's Corner to join Ms. Ginger for a special Happy Thanksgiving Storytime on Saturday, November 13th at 10:30am.  Hear holiday stories, sing fun Thanksgiving songs, and even do a delightful Thanksgiving craft!  Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Pasadena Public Library's kid's department.

Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, this action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe’s longstanding traditions of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges he and fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.

The Pasadena Public Library will be closed the following days this November:

Thursday, November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day

Spooky Tales

Join us for a special Halloween Story Time in the Kid's Corner!  Spooky Tales  will be presented on Friday, October 29 in the Central Library's children's department, from 10:30-11:30.  We will have fun Halloween stories and a ghostly Halloween craft.  Everyone is welcome at this special story time that is sure to be a treat - not a trick!  Kids are welcome to wear their costumes, too!

The Return of Saturday Kid Flix!

Saturday Kid Flix are back at the Central Library's children's department!  Join us on October 30th at 10:30am for a special Halloween animated movie - Monster House.

 

In Monster House, three teens discover that their neighbor's house is really a living, breathing, scary monster,  but no adults will believe them. When they disturb the house, creepy things start to happen, and they must save the neighborhood.
